On Monday, April 28, 2014, The New York Pops marks its 31st birthday with a grand gala evening celebrating the work of musical honoree Marc Shaiman and musical honoree Scott Wittman, as well as the leadership and mentorship work of corporate honoree Paul J. Massey, Jr., CEO and Founding Partner of Massey Knakal Realty Services. Gala Co-Chairs include Neil HeilbergTodd KorrenWilliam C. Montana, and James A. Read. Serving as Honorary Co-Chairs for the event are stars Matthew BroderickDebra Messing, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

 

get-attachment-2.aspxThget-attachment-4.aspxe event begins at 7:00 PM with a concert at Carnegie Hall, featuring a spectacular lineup of guest artists under the baton of Music Director Steven Reineke, featuring highlights from the work of Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. Making their Carnegie Hall debuts are Christian Borle and Martin Short, who will be joined by Capathia Jenkins, Jane Krakowski, Patti LuPone, and Andrea Martin. Additional artists will be announced at a later date. Following the concert, a black tie dinner dance will be held at the elegant Mandarin Oriental New York.

The dinner dance at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel begins at 8:30 pm.

Single tickets for the concert range from $65 to $158. Sales to the public begin Monday, March 3, 2014.
