The annual Rolex Dance Award will be given to Ann-Margret.  A two-time Academy Award Nominee, the super-star is also a winner of 5 Golden Globes, an Emmy Award winner and a Grammy Nominee. Liza Minnelli, winner of four Tony Awards, an Oscar, a special “Legends” Grammy, two Golden Globe Awards, an Emmy, and the recipient of the 2012 Rolex Dance Award will present the award to Ann-Margret.
The Outstanding Contributions to the World of Dance Awards will be given to Ann Van Ness and Harlequin Floors.  Ann Van Ness has been involved in various lifelong efforts to improve the quality of life for others through compassionate philanthropy. Harlequin Floors is recognized as the world leader in advanced technology sprung and vinyl flooring for the dance and performing arts communities.
Broadway is a truly American form of entertainment. BROADWAY & BEYOND!  not only brings to life the magic of theatre, but emphasizes the universal scope of dance in pop culture. This one night only entertainment event* will include performances by Kelly Bishop, Lynn Cohen, Dulé Hill, Andrea McArdle, Christiane Noll, Rosie O’Donnell, Orfeh, Noah Racey, Randy Skinner, Jimmy Tate and many others.
Also on tap will be show-stopping performances from Broadway shows such as A CHORUS LINE, DAMN YANKEES, TAP DANCE KID and others along with special performances by artists from American Repertory Ballet; Broadway Dance Lab; Cirque du Soleil; New York Song & Dance Company; Parelle Exit; Rosie’s Theater Kids; World Cup, with Benois de la Danse Laureate; a special number from SMASH choreographer Josh Bergasse, and the Jubilee Orchestra, and more.  The show is produced and directed by Ann Marie DeAngelo       *program and artists subject to change
