New York, NY (May 16, 2019) – Broadway.com announced the winners today for the 20th Annual Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards in 22 competitive categories. The winners were selected by fans who voted for all eligible candidates in a comprehensive Broadway.com survey for the “People’s Choice Awards” of Broadway.

This year, Be More Chill tops the list, winning four award including Favorite New Musical, Favorite Featured Actor in a Musical (George Salazar), Favorite Funny Performance (Stephanie Hsu), and Favorite Onstage Pair (Will Roland and George Salazar). To Kill a Mockingbird nabbed the Favorite New Play win, while Oklahoma! Wins for Best Musical Revival.

In its 20th year, the Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards celebrates the fan favorites of the season by giving the vote to the people. The voting period opened on May 7 and concluded on Sunday, May 12 at 11:59pm. The Awards will be presented at a private reception on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at 48 Lounge (1221 Avenue of the Americas). Each year, at the end of the Broadway season, stars come together to this ceremony where the most democratic theater award is handed. In recent years, the ceremony has featured Award Winners Uma Thurman, Andrew Garfield, Tina Fey, Ben Platt, Lin-Manuel Miranda and more.
