When the redhead Anita Gillette (Tony Nominee Chapter Two) and the blonde Penny Fuller (two time Tony Award nominee Applause & The Dinner Party) teamed up in a revue named Sin Twisters, written and directed by Barry Kleinbort, they didn’t realize they had hit upon a winning ticket making their duo debut together at Feinstein’s/54 Below. Why they both had even played the role of Sally Bowles in Cabaret! Why Sin Twisters? Because people were always getting them mixed up. Clever!
Of course, each still maintains her own separate career path as well.
