Saturday, June 18, 7:30 pm 

Spend an evening with Marilyn Maye featuring Billy Stritch as Musical Director, The New York Times’ Stephen Holden said “Ms. Maye, spreads a kind of joy that is the opposite of the forced cheer affected by many performers to camouflage insecurity.” In her Fire Island Whyte Hall debut, Marilyn will bring Broadway tunes and standards to life as only Ms. Maye can.

 

Lucie Arnaz in Concert

For the first time, Lucie Arnaz brings her new concert to Fire Island Pines with Ron Abel at the piano. Lucie’s acclaimed career spans TV, Film and Broadway, from TV’s “Here’s Lucy” and “Sons and Daughters” to the film The Jazz Singer to Broadway’s They’re Playing Our Song, Pippin,Lost in Yonkers and many more. Lucie has traveled the world for over 27 years, performing in nightclubs and concert halls. Whyte Hall is thrilled to welcome Lucie for one night only.

 

Bruce Vilanch and The Skivvies

Emmy Award-winner, celebrated comedy genius and Fire Island favorite, Bruce Vilanch comes to Fire Island Pines Whyte Hall in August with musical comedy sensations The Skivvies. From writing the Oscars for over 25 years to “ Hollywood Squares,” Bruce has many stories to tell. The Skivvies, the “musically thrilling” undie-rock, comedy-pop duo don’t just strip down their musical arrangements, they literally strip down to their underwear to perform their distinctive mashups and eccentric originals for cello and ukulele starring award-winning singer-actors Lauren Molina(Broadway’s Sweeney Todd and Rock of Ages) and Nick Cearley (All Shook Up, Buyer and Cellar). The Wall Street Journal called them “smart, sophisticated…ingenious.”

 

Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway – Sibling Revelry

The sisters from Chicago have performed throughout the world, together and as solo artists, from Concert Halls to Broadway stages. They now bring their unique fusion of cabaret and Broadway to close out summer 2016 in the Fire Island Pines.
