Deborah Grace Winer presents The Classic American Songbook Series on March 24 at 7 and 9:30 pm featuring George and Ira Gershwin’s inimitable songwriting style and classic songs. The brothers wrote into the wee hours as the glitterati of Broadway came and went; and Ethel Merman was given her first Broadway job.
Written and hosted by Ms. Winer, with musical direction and arrangements by John Oddo, and stage direction by Mark Waldrop, join Rebecca Luker along with Klea Blackhurst, George Dvorsky and Nicolas King for a grand evening of Gershwin melodies.
