The cast and director met the press at Manhattan Theatre Club’s rehearsal studios on September 4 to give some insight into Tony Award Nominee playwright Florian Zeller’s unforgettable story of life and all its complexities.

Andre and Madeleine have shared their lives for 50 years – everyday pleasures and mysteries of a long marriage. Then, suddenly, life begins to unravel as their loving relationship is faced with inevitable change.

Director Jonathan Kent directs this new play that raises issues of what’s real or not, the realization of things we cannot control. The emphasis is to think past the words and look for underlying meaning in this emotional and thrilling production.
