EMOJILAND opened at The Duke on 42nd Street on Monday, January 19 to a cheering audience of enthusiastic fans.

Written by Laura Schein and Keith Harrison the cast includes Lesli Margherita, Josh Lamon, Laura Shein, Jacob Dickey, Ann Harada, Natalie Weiss, Max Crumm, George Abud, Lucas Steele to name a few. It’s directed by Thomas Caruso, with Kenny Ingram’s choreography.

Emojiland is an electric ensemble piece about a diverse community of archetypes who take one another at face value; a smiling face dealing with depression; a princess who doesn’t want a prince, a skull dying for deletion, a nerd face too smart for his own good . . . you get it. When a software update threatens to destroy life as they know it, Emjoiland faces the most fundamental of society’s questions – – who are we and who matters!

Emojiland runs thru March 8th.
