WATCH “MIRACLE ON 42nd STREET”

Most New Yorkers have at least walked by Manhattan Plaza, the giant apartment buildings on 43rd Street (one on the corner of Ninth Avenue, the other on Tenth Avenue) that became subsidized apartments for struggling artists and performers.

But you might not know all that much about the buildings’ fascinating history – or its many fabled residents – all of which can change now (since you have time) if you watch the fascinating one-hour, Emmy Award-nominated documentary, Miracle on 42^nd Street.

Narrated by Chazz Palminteri, the film features special on-camera interviews with such celebrities — whose lives were impacted by the complex – as Angela Lansbury, Terrence Howard, Alicia Keys, Larry David, Estelle Parsons, Giancarlo Esposito, Samuel L. Jackson and more.
