The Hayes Theater on West 44th Street will house three Broadway shows and the Kiser Theater on West 43 Street has two off-Broadway productions planned.

2d Stage is dedicated to producing living American Playwrights and this fall season the first Broadway production scheduled is Lynn Nottage’s “Clyde’s” directed by collaborator Kate Whoriskey.  Next is Richard Greenberg’s Tony Award winner “Take Me Out” (postponed  when Covid hit), returning in Spring of 2022.  Closing the season, making its Broadway debut, will be the Pulitzer Prize winner “Between Riverside and Crazy”, written by Stephen Adly Guirgis, directed by Austin Pendleton.

At The Kiser is the return of Playwright Rajiv Joseph’s “Animals Out of Paper” (originally shown at Second Stage Uptown) featuring origami superstar Suresh. The character returns in “Letters of Suresh” directed by May Adrales this Fall.  The season closes with a new play “To My Girls,” by JC Lee, directed by Stephen Brackett slated for Spring 2022.
