The pandemic was an eye-opener for this 3 year old prodigy Bridgette Xie, and her Mom who was trying to find things for her daughter to do during Covid. She gave her virtual piano lessons with a local teacher Felicia Feng Zhang in Connecticut where they reside and it became obvious that Bridgette’s flying fingers over the piano was more than noise, she was remarkable.

Instructed to move her “right hand to D major, left hand to C Major, right hand to G major,” she did it with ease making all the necessary moves. And she reads music! As more challenging assignments came, it was evident that Bridgette had a rare gift and was entered in various competitions over the months and will now play at Carnegie Hall come November. It will be the first time she plays before a live audience and the youngest ever. She also likes to play with her toys and read books.
