Chris Botti is acknowledged as one of the largest selling American instrumental artists, winning a Grammy Award for his latest album Impressions in 2013. The trumpeter was also nominated in 2008 for his album Italia and received three nominations in 2010 for the live album Chris Botti in Boston. Four of his albums have reached the No. 1 position on the Billboard jazz albums chart.
Coming to prominence with the 2001 recording of his Night Sessions album, Botti established a reputation as a versatile musician in both jazz and pop music for his ability to fuse both styles together. He’s played with Sting, Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, YoYo Ma and many more celebrities. Botti plays at New York City’s Blue Note to the Hollywood Bowl to Real Teatro di San Carlo in Italy. He is a legend!
