Christian Holder

 

Christian Holder is an artist on numerous levels. He was a leading dancer with the Joffrey Ballet here in New York working with Jerome Robbins, Agnes de Mille, Leonide Massine. He was also the stage wardrobe designer for Tina Turner.

Like his father Boscoe Holder, he is an accomplished painter and his paintings hang, next to his father’s, in a joint exhibition at a gallery in South Kensington www.campbellsoflondon.co.uk

Christian was invited to perform his show “At Home and Abroad” at The Crazy Coqs in London and at The Pheasantry in Chelsea. He performed this show at Feinstein’s/54 Below in 2018. Many saw him last at the Mabel Mercer New York Cabaret Convention at Lincoln Center in 2019 performing solo and alongside Amra-Faye Wright.

His performance abilities date back to his childhood in London where he attended the Corona Academy Stage School and subsequently has appeared in many television series including The Avenger.
