Ariana Restaurant in SoHo (138-140 West Houston Street) and their classical music concert & 5-course dinner pairing series which begins this Wednesday 10/22 at 7pm and will continue once a week (upcoming dates are 10/28, 11/5, 11/12 and 11/19, the series will be ongoing). The restaurant boasts a stunning and unique menu featuring modern interpretations of classic Russian dishes, unlike anything else in New York.

Each week a different renowned classical music artist will perform for Ariana’s Classical Music/Contemporary Cuisine Series which will offer New York City diners and classical music lovers a truly entertaining evening with a 30 minute live sit-down musical concert followed by a delectable five-course dinner from the inspired Ariana menu; a few of the dishes include an Assorted Cured Fish Platter; Duck or Sturgeon Pelmeni (dumplings); Beef Stroganoff; Cranberry Artichoke Scallops; and for dessert either the Medovik (honey sponge cake) or the Kartoshka (chocolate butter cake).

Restaurant owner Ariana Grinblat is a 6-time Russian Grammy Award-winner, and with this classical music series she wants to bring the impressive history and traditions of Russian culture to the forefront in a relaxed and engaging setting. 10/22 will showcase the talents of Bulgarian born pianist Nadejda Vlaeva who in NYC has performed at the Carnegie Recital Hall, the Rose Hall at Lincoln Center and at Merkin Recital Hall, and performers for the other upcoming dates are Sandro Russo, Karén Hakobyan, William Hobbs and Yoonie Han.

The series begins at 7pm with a meet and greet in the lounge at Ariana Restaurant where guests will enjoy a specialty cocktail prior to heading into the Skylight Room at 7:30pm to be seated for the concert performance. Combining both old and new world traditions, the elegant and inviting décor of Ariana Restaurant, coupled with its thrilling take on modern Russian fare will make the series a memorable evening and a spectacular feast for the senses.
