Cloris Leachman has died at the age of 94 from natural causes, her daughter Dinah at her side.  With 22 Emmy noms, the actress, comedienne starred in some of the biggest movies and TV shows. She’s the most nominated actress in history, and her 8 wins is the most of all time … tied with Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Her career began after she completed the 1946 Miss America Paegant, then making her debut on the Actors’ Studio TV series. She is best known for her roles in “The Last Picture Show (1971) for which she won an Oscar as Best Supporting Actress, and for her role in “Young Frankenstein” (1974). She won numerous Emmy’s for “A Brand New Life” and “Cher” in the ’70s, “The Woman Who Willed a Miracle” in the ’80s, “Promised Land” in the ’90s … and most recently, “Malcolm in the Middle.”
