If you haven’t seen cabaret star D’yan Forest perform live, now is your chance. Last week D’yan was recognized by the Guinness World Records as being the oldest working female stand-up comic in the world. And on July 31st @ 7 pm, when she turns a spry 88, D’Yan will celebrate by performing her new cabaret show Swinging on the Seine: Searching for Amour in 1960’s Paris at the iconic Joe’s Pub.

D’yan is quite a character and she will not disappoint, Her mottos are “Love Has No Age,” and “You’re never too old to try something new.” She’s a positive and inspiring woman who faces ageism all the time, especially at comedy clubs with young comics. She puts the young comics in their place when she steps onstage and has the best set of the night. If you’re interested in seeing what an inspiring person breaking barriers is all about, this is the show and D’Yan Forest is the woman.
