The Stars of Tomorrow Project is the teen acting program founded by Tony Danza – the beloved star of Taxi and Who’s the Boss, as well as a fine song-and-dance man. The organization provides New York City youth with education tuition assistance and 100% free year-round classes in acting, singing, movement and dance taught by professional artists and actors in the heart of the New York Theater District in Midtown Manhattan. Their slogan is, “When you teach a kid how to act, you teach a kid how to act!”
A recent update note to from Tony held much exciting news of the organization’s highlights from their spring semester, including the announcement of its first Benefit Show. The show will take place at the Pershing Square Signature Center Theater in Manhattan on October 26, 2023, showcasing the talents of many of the program’s kids as well as “a few surprises from my celebrity friends.” (A formal show announcement, which will enable you to buy tickets and pledge support, is forth coming.)
