Television stars have discovered a wonderful place to spend creative time while they are on hiatus from their TV shows. The place is New Jersey Repertory Company in Long Branch NJ.
The latest stars to take up residence are Gary Cole currently on HBO’s Emmy-winning comedy VEEP opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Wendie Malick one of the stars of HOT IN CLEVELAND. The two television veterans are staring in Richard Dresser’s CLOSURE. The plays runs from June 25 to July 19. The show has been sold out for the entire run. Each performance has anywhere between 30 to 40 on the waiting list.
The best way secure tickets to NJ Rep’s productions is to sign up and become a member. The theater is very easily accessible from NY by train or by car. It’s wonderful to go early in the day and spend time on the beach and have lunch and dinner at the excellent restaurants on the boardwalk and go see a show at the NJ Rep theater. Parking is free. Nice way to spend a day out of the city.
