The Concerts for City Greens is about to wind down its 6th Season with a very special tribute on Wed. September 11th at 6:30 pm (rain date, Sept. 12, 6:30 pm) at Tudor City Greens.  The roster is filled with performers from Broadway and NYC Cabaret as well as the jazz scene.

This day of remembrance will celebrate the spirit of New York and America in this healing and uplifting concert.

Included is a specially arranged version of “America The Beautiful” by Kenneth Gartman; your host and the creator of the series Raissa Katona Bennett.

Scheduled performers incllude: Karen Oberlin, Billie Roe, Amy Beth Williams, Roger Mapes, Miles Phillips, Nina Hennessey, Tanya Holt, Marcus Simeone, Shawn Ryan, Tanya Moberly, Eric Cronican and a special appearance by the band from the off Broadway revival of “Working” – Dan Feyer, Jeff Roberts and Matt Scharfglass.

The series regular musicians include Terese Genecco, Sean Harkness, Matt Scharfglass and Bill Zeffiro.

Additional musical direction provided by pianists Jeff Cubeta, Kenneth Gartman and Mark Janas.

This event is FREE to all and benefits Music and Art for Green.
