MCC’s Annual ‘Miscast’ Gala

MCC Theater’s annual Miscast gala, held at the Hammerstein Ballroom, has become one of the hottest tickets of the theatrical season. The reason: audiences get the chance to see of Broadway’s biggest stars take on roles and songs they’d never be offered in real life. This year’s show on Monday, April 3, held in honor of the 30th anniversary of MCC, was no exception. Before the benefit officially began, TheaterPizzazz had the opportunity to talk to some of the performers and special guests, including Bernie Telsey, Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, Ari Graynor, Geneva Carr, Carmen Cusack, Ana Villafane, Stephanie J.
