Stalker, which combines street magic, stunning illusions, physical mentalism, and an ending that will soon be the talk of the town brings Swedish duo Peter Brynolf & Jonas Ljung who famously stumped Penn & Teller on the first season of their TV show, “Fool Us.” Now, Penn & Teller make their theatrical producing debut with Stalker. The production is directed by “Eurovision” mastermind Edward Af Sillén and co-produced by Lifeline Entertainment (Lasse Karlsson/Michael Henriksson). Lighting design for Stalker is by Jamie Roderick (Midnight at the Never Get). Sound design is by Drew Levy (A Strange Loop, Oklahoma!). Stalker opens Monday, April 1 Off-Broadway at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Previews begin March 18.

After a sold-out off-Broadway debut run in 2023, musical comedian Caitlin Cook is bringing her hit show back to Soho Playhouse in March and April of 2024. The Writing on the Stall is a one-woman bathroom graffiti musical and a New York Times critic’s pick, directed by A.J. Holmes (The Book of Mormon, Kimberly Akimbo, StarKid Productions). Confessional, immersive, and uproariously funny, this one-of-a-kind show—literally set in a dive bar bathroom—transforms graffiti scrawled all over the bathroom stalls into the lyrics of Caitlin’s original songs and the trail markers along the journey she takes us upon. The J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company (Jim Jimirro, Executive Producer/Co-Founder; Robert W. Schneider, Artistic Director/Co-Founder) has revealed the production teams for its 2024 season.Do Re Mi with music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, book by Garson Kanin, will be directed by Ovation Award-winning director Robert W. Schneider with musical direction by Miles Plant and choreography by Andrew Winans and run April 19 – 28.
