Alan Cumming (Cabaret, The Good Wife) and Ari Shapiro (NPR’s All Things Considered, Pink Martini) have joined forces to debut their new act at Café Carlyle, April 5 – 15. “Och & Oy! First Look at Roundabout Theatre Company’s The Wanderers, by Anna Ziegler directed by Barry Edelstein is now available. Previews have begun. The Wanderers opens officially on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at the Laura Pels Theater in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). The Village! A Disco Daydream – the new meta musical comedy filled with high jinx, low kinks, and go-go boys – is returning to Dixon Place by popular demand in February for a monthlong run after its sold out premiere last fall. The Village! A Disco Daydream is written by Nora Burns, the playwright and performer known for her acclaimed show David’s Friend and the famed comedy trio Unitard. The show is directed by Adam Pivirotto, with choreography by Robin Carrigan (Trick).
Dixon Place is at 161A Chrystie Street between Rivington and Delancey. Run time is approximately 60 minutes.


The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), in association with Riki Kane Larimer, will present a revised version of Vanities—The Musical, with book by Jack Heifner, music and lyrics by David Kirshenbaum, music direction by Deborah Abramson, and choreography by Shannon Lewis. The show will be directed by Will Pomerantz.
