Broadway newcomer Elijah Rhea Johnson will take over the role of Michael Jackson in MJ on Broadway beginning April 4, 2023. Originally from Detroit, MI, Johnson returns to MJ after helping to develop the role of “Middle Michael” throughout the workshop process. Tony Award winner Myles Frost will depart the production on April 2, 2023 after a history making year and a half in the role.

NJ Rep (179 Broadway in Long Branch NJ), is proud to present The Shot by Robin Gerber, directed by Michelle Joyner, and starring Emmy nominated actress Sharon Lawrence as Katharine Graham. It will begin its limited run on April 6 and run through April 23, 2023. The Shot, is about former Washington Post publisher Katharine Graham and that part of her life that is hard to look at and understand. Before becoming publisher, Katharine was an abused wife, derided in public and beaten in private by her husband, who had inherited The Washington Post newspaper from Katharine’s father.
