Phillip Officer returns to BIRDLAND Thurs. June 8 @ 8:30 pm in  SECOND TIME AROUND with  JEFFREY KLITZ on piano, KEVIN KUHN on guitar, and BEN SUTIN on violin.  This eclectic songbook celebrates “changes” that affect everyday lives.  Featuring music by songwriters and artists who have inspired the singer’s life – Carole King, Peggy Lee, Johnny Mercer, Cher, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, Jason Robert Brown.  Directed by BILL RUSSELL.

Laura Slutsky will be Schmoozin’ on June 6 @ 7 pm at the Triad Theater presenting a comedy Fun’D-Raiser with special guests – a benefit for STRIVE.

Jones, best known for his performances over the last 10 years in A Christmas Carol at the landmark 1832 Merchant’s House (29 E. 4th St, Manhattan), invites you to a summer garden party. Surrounded by nature we’ll raise our glasses to the unrivaled legacy of “America’s Poet,” for four performances only, June 21-24, in the Merchant House Museum’s charming garden. In case of rain the performance will move indoors to the grand Greek-Revival parlor.

Comedian Sam Morrison’s acclaimed solo show Sugar Daddy, which premiered Off Broadway at the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) earlier this year and played an encore engagement, will return for a limited Pride Week engagement from June 21 – June 24, 2023. The show, directed by Ryan Cunningham and produced by SoHo Playhouse and co-produced by Ali Fischbein, was recently declared “the best show in NYC” by The Daily Beast. Tickets for Sugar Daddy (starting at $40.00) and more information can be found here. Producer R. Erin Craig announced that the new musical Austen’s Pride will play a one-night-only concert engagement at the prestigious Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 8 PM. Featuring a book, music, and lyrics by Lindsay Warren Baker and Amanda Jacobs and orchestrations by Amanda JacobsAusten’s Pride is directed by Igor Goldin with musical direction by Matt Perri, who will also conduct the evening, and choreography by Lisa Shriver. Casting will be announced shortly. Tickets are now on sale
