Broadway’s Judy Kaye will join NYC based cabaret, concert and recording artist Travis Moser making his City Winery New York debut with Someday Soon: The Songs of Judy Collins. Travis, along with musical director Drew Wutkie will perform brand new arrangements of some of the folk and pop icon’s most loved songs, such as “Someday Soon,” “Both Sides Now,” “Mountain Girl,” “Who Knows Where the Time Goes” and many more.  The concert will take place on Monday Aug 22. www.CityWinery.com

The American Songbook Association (ASA) pays tribute to Darrell Henline, the founder and publisher of Cabaret Scenes magazine (the official magazine of the ASA), who passed away in 2003 on September 21 @ 7 pm at Chelsea Table + Stage. The Darrell Henline Award honors that individual whose professional career in the field of cabaret has been one of consistent excellence and distinction. Eric Michael Gillett’s 50 years of experience as an actor in television, film, and on Broadway contributes to his unparalleled performance as a teacher, director, and performer in cabaret shows across the country and in Europe. Performing are: Aaron Lee Battle, Bonnie Dramer, Ben Moss, MSteve Ross, James Seol, KT Sullivan, Andy Tighe, Melanie Vaugh.

Proceeds benefit the programs of the American Songbook Association: Cabaret Scenes Magazine, Education and Outreach, Music for Seniors.
