The cabarets and clubs are beginning to hum with the sounds of live performance here in New York and in PTown for the 21st Provincetown CabaretFest down to Florida. Here’s a sampling.
Sidney Myer heads up a master class on June 24 and headlines June 26 celebrating Broadway melodies in PTown.
Corinna Sowers Adler will “Romance” you with Jimmy Horan on piano at the West Bank Café on June 30, 7-9 pm.
The Prince of Cabaret, Steve Ross, will appear at Pangea July 14 to celebrate Bastille Day, with special guests Karen Akers and Stephanie Biddle.
Charles Busch, John Kelly, Darcelle XV, Agosto Machado, Michael Arian, and Alexis Del Lago have joined La MaMa’s Love Cabaret on June 22. The Love Gala will be hosted by Sasha Velour at the Ellen Stewart Theatre.
54 Below has a roster of talent in July including Mike Wartella on July 5, with special guest Alyssa Fox.
Paulo Szot returns for 9th time with exuberant songs from Spanish zarzuela and musical theater on July 8 and 19 at 7 pm.
Grammy and Tony nom Derrick Baskin performs June 29 and July 3 at 7 pm
Lee Roy Reams – Remembering Jerry Herman – is back for a 2d show on July 13 at 7 pm.
