Dance, Music, Fashion Runway and Stars of stage, screen, and fashion come together in Times Square to celebrate a Brand New Day on June 11, starting at 11 a.m. in Times Square (W. 43 St./7th Ave.) hosted by ‘Top Model’ Star, (Runway Expert) Miss J. Alexander, and NY1’s Frank DiLella, as New York City moves forward on its path to a full reopening. The event will encourage New Yorkers and tourists alike to put away the screens, throw on their most fabulous looks, and reemerge into our great city to fall in love with it all over again. 

Expect to see: Jason A. Rodriguez (“Pose”), celebrity choreographer, James Alonzo, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star, Jackie Cox; Broadway stars, Charl Brown, Jenn Gambatese, Timothy Hughes, Robyn Hurder, Adam Jepsen, Rob Morean, Adam Roberts; along with Megan Hornaday, Carmen Jackson, Ryan Raferty, Alex Wong; and dancers, Tatiana Barber, Shane Fowler, Cedric Greene, Luz Guzman, Arden Harris, Keisha Hughes, Robert Mason, Jay Mills, Karma Nina Oricci, Dobbin Pickney, Hisham Qumhiyeh, Shayna Whetley; Hell’s Kitchen business leaders, Shane Hathaway (Hold Fast) and Aleta LaFargue; and Brand New Day producers Holly-Anne Devlin, Ryan Ratelle, and Sam Ratelle.

Robbie Rozelle is now “Back in the Basement” on June 24 and July 14, 2021, at 9:45pm at 54 Below! After selling out the first evening in under thirty minutes, the much-anticipated return of the comic singer to 54 Below has added more seats and a second date.
After a very brief hiatus (and practically one year to the date of the release of his debut album “Songs From Inside My Locker: Live at Feinstein’s/54 Below”), Robbie Rozelle returns to the basement with an all-new show just for Pride. Join Robbie and his teeny-tiny band as they celebrate life, love and living out loud in a new hilarious romp from the creator of Songs From Inside My Locker and Tuesdays at 54 that is sure to be full of his signature medleys, razor-sharp wit, and just a soupçon of snark. He just hopes his suit jacket still fits. And if it doesn’t, who cares? It’s a celebration!“Back in the Basement” is written and performed by Robbie Rozelle, with music direction and arrangements by Yasuhiko Fukuoka. The evening will feature special guest Joseph C. Townsend.

Composer-lyricist Chris Rayis has compiled his best theatre work on Transcriber of Dreams, releasing June 14th on Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming and digital services.

Performers include A.J. Shively (Bright StarLa Cage Aux Folles), Douglas Waterbury-Tieman (SeaWife, The Robber Bridegroom), Eleri Ward (A Perfect Little Death), Annabelle Fox (No StringsSpring Awakening), Julio Rey, Laura Cable, Lauren Mary Moore, Piper Jones, and Jordan Gonzalez.

Transcriber of Dreams contains excerpts and selections from Rayis’ musicals and song cycles, including The Empress AlexandraUnsportsmanlike Conduct, Deep Water Ballad, and Strange Music for a Strange Time. Rayis’ music and lyrics have been heard at 54 Below, Penn State University, Belmont University, The Triad Theater, A.D. Players, Young Singers of Palm Beach, and The American School in Switzerland.
