‘Torch Song Trilogy’ Sat. Aug. 28 at 3 pm, Hoboken Public Library -a Staged Reading of Harvey Fierstein’s Tony Award winner – in Honor of Hudson County’s Pride – with an unforgettable cast: Sidney Myer, Michael Stever, Logann Grace, Florence Pape. It’s FREE, but registration is required!

The adorable lady of a thousand voices and then there’s her own, is leaving us for London! Oh, how she will be missed. Christina Bianco has “A Lot to Unpack” at Birdland Theatre Oct. 15 and 16 at 8:30 pm before she bids us farewell. Her special guests are Nicolas King and Jeremy Miloszewicz.

Gingold Theatrical Group (David Staller, Artistic Director) is proud to return to live, in-person performance with a rare revival of Bernard Shaw’s Mrs. Warren’s Profession starring Robert Cuccioli, David Lee Huynh, Alvin Keith, Nicole King, Raphael Nash Thompson, and Tony® Award winner Karen Ziemba as Mrs. Warren. Katya Collazo and Max Roll will serve as understudies. Previews begin Tuesday October 12th at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues) and performances continue through November 20th only.  Opening Night is set for Wednesday October 27th.

Times Square’s newest attraction opens today, and it’s a big one. The Times Square Wheel – it’s a ferris wheel that will spin riders 110 feet into the air, offering a unique view of Times Square. It’s located on Broadway at 48th Street, which has been closed to vehicular traffic. Tickets from $15 for kids and $20 for adults. And 100 Free rides a day!

Casting is set for the previously announced stage adaptation of the 1988 movie Mystic Pizza, which is scheduled to premiere at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine from September 1 through October 2. Sandy Rustin adapted Amy Holden Jones’ original screenplay for the stage. The production will be directed by Casey Hushion and feature arrangements and orchestrations by Carmel Dean. Mystic Pizza will star Krystina Alabado as Daisy, Kyra Kennedy as Kat and Gianna Yanelli as Jojo, the roles playes in the film by Julia Roberts, Annabeth Gish and Lili Taylor,

Karate Kid Musical Sets 2022 Pre-Broadway Run at Stages St. Louis – the book is by original screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen and music and lyrics by Drew Gasparini. It will begin a limited engagement on May 25, 2022, in St. Louis at The Kirkwood Performing Arts Center just outside St. Louis, MO. The musical will run through June 26.
