Wednesday, May 9 the Nominees Reception for the 63rd Annual Drama Desk Awards took place at Friedman’s in the Hotel Edison. Celebrating the nominees for the 2017-2018 theater season awards, the room was abuzz with the outstanding performers and creatives from this year’s great productions. Among the bold faced names nominated and in attendance were Tina Fey, Nathan Lane, Billy Crudup, Glenda Jackson, Laurie Metcalf, Jessie Mueller, Daphne Rubin-Vega, LaChanze, Tom Hollander and many, many more. Theater Pizzazz’s JK Clarke was there to photograph the happy nominees.
The 63rd Annual Drama Desk Awards, hosted by Michael Urie, will take place on Sunday, June 3 at The Town Hall in Times Square. Theater Pizzazz will be on hand to keep you informed.
