Richard Skipper Celebrates Grande Dame of Dance Marge Champion and her wonderful career in a rare, candid interview

Please join Marge Champion and Richard Skipper as they sit down to discuss Miss. Champion’s life and glorious career, on Sunday, October 5th at 5:00 PM at NYC’’s Spiral Theater Studio 300 West 43rd Street (off of 8th Avenue), Room 603, New York.

In celebrating a career that spans eight decades, Marge Champion steps back into the limelight to tell her story to Richard Skipper (Richard Skipper Celebrates). The beautiful dancer Marge Champion, known well for the great team of Marge and Gower Champion in those great MGM movie musicals of the 1940s and 1950s, will tell her story of being there in that great era, who she knew, and how she knew them. And she knew them ALL!

Miss Champion is well-known to film audiences worldwide to this day. Starring with her late husband Director/choreographer Gower in “Show Boat”, “Everything I Have is yours” and “Lovely to look At”, the Champions became the stars of these films with their beautiful dancing as art set to music. (Gower Champion, Marge’s husband, is well-remembered as the great director of “Hello, Dolly” and “42nd Street).

The evening with Marge Champion and Richard Skipper will begin with a Champagne reception at 5:00 PM, and interview of Marge Champion promptly at 5:30 PM. A “meet and greet” will follow.
