On Thursday, January 13, 2022, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater debuted Addressless by Jonathan Payne in a format fitting for the times. Forward-thinking, with inclusivity at the top-of-mind, Rattlestick is ensuring this production will allow theater-goers to experience the magic of Addressless right from the comfort of their homes. Additionally, each Friday during the run will be pay-as-you-wish and 5 tickets will be given out to select individuals who are personally experiencing housing insecurity. Addressless runs thru February 13.

Addressless is an interactive, real life strategy and theatrical game starring actors Bianca Norwood (Plano) and Joey Auzenne (Wu Tang: An American Saga, New Amsterdam), social worker Hope Beaver and formerly homeless activist Shams DaBaron (Da Homeless Hero). This combination of recorded performances with live-game elements and interactive discussion is testament to Rattlestick’s unwavering push for inclusivity and widespread accessibility.

While Addressless is an interactive, real life strategy and theatrical game, it is also more than a production and vehicle for entertainment. It is a soft and intimate learning experience that exposes the audience to the reality of housing insecurity through this unique ‘what would you do?’ style of theater. Actors Bianca Norwood (Plano) and Joey Auzenne (Wu Tang: An American Saga, New Amsterdam), social worker Hope Beaver and former homeless activist Shams DaBaron (Da Homeless Hero) work together to deliver this unique piece of art. The combination of recorded performances, live-game elements and interactive discussion tied to this important subject matter is testament to Rattlestick’s unwavering push for inclusivity and widespread accessibility.
