Eloquent, erudite, witty. These words (and more) are frequently used to describe the work of playwright David Ives, author of such award-winning works as “All in the Timing” and “Venus in Fur.” Naturally, they also apply to “Lives of the Saints,” a new collection of seven short plays that will debut at Primary Stages’ current home the Duke on 42nd Street, from February 3 through March 27.

At a Tuesday, January 13 press event at the company’s rehearsal space, Theater Pizzazz caught up to chat with Ives, his frequent collaborator, director John Rando, and the show’s talented cast Arnie Burton, Carson Elrod, Liv Rooth, and real-life husband and wife Rick Holmes and Kelly Hutchinson, who shared their thoughts about this exciting, sure-to-be-hysterical project.

Come take a look and a listen. The show begins performances FEBRUARY 3RD
