THE GREAT GATSBY, The Immersive Show, made its official American debut in New York City. This immersive theatrical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic tale was the longest-running immersive production in the UK and the roaring ’20s came alive again at The Gatsby Mansion in the Park Central Hotel at 870 Seventh Avenue.
It was truly a festive event from the bevy of flapper fringed femme fatales to the authentic array of vintage automobiles lined up in front of the Park Central Hotel. On the red carpet VIPs included Actress, Kerry Butler,Singer/ songwriter/ Producer David Byrne, Broadway power couple Robyn Hurder and Clyde Alves and American Actor / Rock Singer, Constantine Maroulis.
When asked if they were planning to watch and enjoy from the sidelines or join in with the action onstage, some said “finding their favorite spot to chill and enjoy the ambiance and the music” while others wanted to be in the thick of things. Either way it was unanimous! Everybody came to have a ‘rip n roaring’ good time! And I’m sure they all did!
