Octopus Theatricals, in partnership with Phantom Limb Company and Arts Brookfield, announced a series of new mobile puppet performances collectively titled, “THE PUPPET CYCLE: Small World Stories.” Commissioned by Arts Brookfield, the performances are free, open to the public and will premiere at Brookfield Properties’ Manhattan West, Zuccotti Park, and Brooklyn Commons in late July and August.

THE PUPPET CYCLE: Small World Stories features a trio of original family-friendly marionette plays by Dipika Guha and Jen Silverman that will travel between properties via a specially adapted cargo bike with a solar-powered, moveable stage.

This bill of marionette plays will tour Brookfield Properties locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn this summer, including:

·         Manhattan West: July 28-31 and August 3-7 with performances taking place on the hour from 3-6 p.m.

·         Zuccotti Park: August 10-14 with performances taking place on the hour from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

·         Brooklyn Commons: August 17-21 with performances taking place on the hour from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
