Bane Griffith will be joining the cast of MJ in the role of ‘Little Michael’ January 31sharing the role with Christian Wilson. Originally from Houston, Texas, Bane will make his Broadway debut in the production. He replaces Corey J. The acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series has announced the lineup for its next concert event, Broadway Sings Adele. On February 26 at 7:30pm, a bombshell cast of stars including Tony Award Winner Lena Hall (Hedwig), Brittney Johnson (Wicked), and Eleri Ward (Only Gold) will belt out new arrangements of the hits of the pop superstar Adele, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra at the beautiful Sony Hall. Also featured in the lineup are Kayla Davion (Tina), Kyle Freeman (A Strange Loop), Tamika Lawrence (Caroline, Or Change), Kristolyn Lloyd(1776), Corey Mach (Merrily We Roll Along), Kyle Taylor Parker (Pretty Woman), Zachary Noah Piser (KPOP), Jelani Remy (Ain’t Too Proud), Rosé (Titianique, “RuPaul’s Drag Race), Stephanie Torns (Waitress), Danielle Wade (Mean Girls), Michael Wordly (Kinky Boots),and Alyssa Wray (“American Idol”). The Entertainment Community Fund announces a one-night-only benefit reunion concert of Ragtime, originally scheduled for 2020, will take place on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the Minskoff Theatre (200 West 45th St.). The event will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the show’s Broadway opening and will star original cast members including Emmy, Grammy and six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald (“Sarah”), two-time Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell (“Coalhouse Walker, Jr.”) and SAG Award winner Peter Friedman (“Tateh”), with Tony Award winner Kelli O’Hara (“Mother”) in the role originally performed by the late Marin Mazzie.
