Right Angle Entertainment, producer of the smash hits The Office! An Unauthorized Musical Parody and Love Actually? The Unauthorized Musical Parody presents FRIENDS! THE MUSICAL PARODY, the hilarious unauthorized sendup of the iconic tv series that is kicking off a national tour with a limited engagement Summertime run (through September 19th) in New York City. Previews begin Monday, July 19th Off-Broadway, in the Jerry Orbach Theater at The Theater Center, 1627 Broadway. The production will have its official opening on Tuesday, July 27th.   

Greenhouse Ensemble is presenting Twelfth Night directed by Hazen Cuyler (also appearing in the production) in two locations on the Upper West Side: Summit Rock (in Central Park at 83rd St and Central Park West) and the elegant West Side Community Garden (on 89th St between Columbus and Amsterdam.) A first outdoor production after a year of creating work on Zoom, summer evenings are now outside! performances of Twelfth Night begin at 6pm and are free of charge. Second Stage Theater has announced dates for four of its upcoming productions, including the Broadway stagings of Lynn Nottage’s Clyde’s and Richard Greenberg’s Take Me Out.  Rajiv Joseph’s Letters of Suresh and JC Lee’s To My Girls are also on the upcoming roster, along with Stephen Adly Guirgis’ Between Riverside and Crazy. Cinderella is set for Amazon Prime release Sept. 3 and stars Camila Cabello as Cinderella with Tony winner Idina Menzel as the Evil Stepmother, Tony and Emmy winner Billy Porter as the Fairy Godmother, Pierce Brosnan as the King, Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Robert, Minnie Driver as Queen Beatrice, and John MulaneyJames Corden & Romesh Ranganathan as the mice-turned-footmen. The film also stars Tallulah Greive (Princess Gwen), Luke Latchman (Griff), Beverley KnightFra Free (Hench), and Mary Higgins (Princess Laura), and Maddie Baillio and Charlotte Spencer (stepsisters) in the remake.
