The CAMP Bonfire Series is the culmination of six months of peer support and artistic feedback facilitated by Mahayla Laurence and Matt Gehring who direct CAMP, Ars Nova’s new development program for early career comedy artists.

Katori Hall’s “The Hot Wing King” was awarded the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for Drama Friday. The play, directed by Steve H. Broadnax III, made its world premiere Off-Broadway in February 2020 at Signature Theatre Company, but had its run cut short by the pandemic. This year, the Pulitzer Prize board considered works that were postponed or cancelled as well as shows streamed online.

Afterward, an audio play written by Karl Miller and directed by Bernadette Amstrong. The play will premiere on Wednesday, June 30 on the Open-Door Playhouse Podcastwww.opendoorplayhouse.org. The podcast is FREE to listen and download, but donations are greatly appreciated.
