For the second consecutive year, NY Forever, in partnership with City National Bank and the New York City Department of Transportation will present Broadway Forever, a series of free, star-studded, pop-up concerts and community service activations, empowering New Yorkers across the city to build a better city for all.  

The events will run on September 17th at Plaza de Las Americas in Manhattan (651 West 175th Street) beginning at 11am and September 24th, 2023, at Lou Gehrig Plaza in the Bronx (East 161st Street, Grandview Place).

Roundabout TheatreCompany’s world-premiere production of The Refuge Plays by Nathan Alan Davis, directed by Patricia McGregor, in association with New York Theatre Workshop.The Refuge Plays begins preview performances Saturday, September 16 at 7pm at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street) and officially opens on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. The new rock musical, EXORCISTIC presented by HRS Productions and Orgasmico Theatre will premier in NYC just in time for Halloween. The show will come to NYC for its limited viewingon October 8th through October 23rd at The Box. The musical parody brings about horror, hilarity, and the most powerhouse rock tunes you’ll see in a theater this year!

Book, lyrics, and music by two-time Ovation Award winner Michael Shaw Fisher. Lindsay Heather Pearce (Wicked and RENT) will be featured in the opening cast. Days of Wine and Roses is set to transfer to Broadway, starring Kelli O’Hara and Brian d’Arcy James, who led the production off-Broadway earlier this year at Atlantic Theater Co. Running for 16 weeks only, performances will begin on January 6, 2024 at Studio 54.  Adapted from the 1962 film and original 1958 teleplay, the new musical features a book by Tony Award nominee Craig Lucas, music & lyrics by Tony Award winner Adam Guettel, and direction by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif.
