Broadway did well at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards as Into The Woods won Best Musical Theater Album for producers Rob Berman and Sean Patrick Flahaven and vocalists Sarah Bareilles, Brian d’Arcy James, Patina Miller and Phillipa Soo.

Trevor Noah served as host  and James Cordon and Billy Crystal served as presenters.

Lin Manuel Miranda with vocalists Carolina Gaitan – La Gaita, Maura Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero, Stephanie Beatriz and cast of the animated movie Encanto won for its viral hit “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” also receiving statues for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media and Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media.

Renee Fleming, Tony Nominee, won a Grammy for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album for her “Voice of Nature – The Anthropocene.”

The coveted EGOT went to Viola Davis in the Best Audio Book Narration and Storytelling Recording category of her memoir Finding Me.
