From June to September, Bryant Park will present a series of 25 programs from some of the city’s most prominent institutions and performance groups, including the New York Philharmonic, Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Joe’s Pub, the Classical Theater of Harlem, Paul Taylor Dance Company and the Town Hall. www.bryantpark.org

Theatre Orb has announced casting of Japan’s production of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR in concert. The production is currently set to begin performances on July 12th, with the official opening on July 15th. The production will run through July 27th.

The cast will include Michael K. Lee as Jesus Christ, Ramin Karimloo as Judas Iscariot, Celinde Schoenmaker as Mary Magdalene, Masaaki Fujioka as King Herod, Hironobu Miyahara(LE VELVETS) as Caiaphas, Telly Leung as Peter, Robert Marien as Pontius Pilate, Hayato Kakizawa as Simon Zealotes, and Aaron Walpole as Annas.

The Casting Society of America has announced details for its 2021 Artios Awards. The ceremony is set steam live April 15 at 8 PM ET; hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown. Lifetime achievement award recipients include Hollywood casting director and actor Robi Reed and Broadway casting director Tara Rubin. The event will also honor The Actors Fund with the Rosalie Joseph Humanitarian Award.

Presenters for the evening include Tony Award-winner Leslie Odom, Jr., Emmy-winner Rachel Brosnahan, Broadway performer and television personality Amanda Kloots, actor Paul Mescal, ‘Pose’ star Indya Moore, and actor Pedro Pascal. Among this year’s nominees are The Prom, Disney’s new live-action Mulan film, and more.

Khris Davis in the Royale

Lincoln Center Theater will stream its 2016 archival recording of Marco Ramirez’s The Royale, directed by Rachel Chavkin, starring Khris Davis, April 22-May 16 for free via Broadway On Demand. Those looking for access can register on the Lincoln Center Theater website.
