Off Broadway ‘Three Sisters’ Starring Oscar Isaac & Greta Gerwig Indefinitely Postponed –The previously announced and long-awaited Off Broadway production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters starring Oscar Isaac and Greta Gerwig has been indefinitely postponed due to scheduling conflicts.
ISRAELI ARTISTS PROJECT announces, in celebration of Women’s History Month, the New York premiere production of award-winning Israeli playwright Anat Gov’s BEST FRIENDS, the longest-running comedy in Israel and winner of the prestigious Israel National Theater Award for Best Comedy in 1999, directed by Hamutal Posklinsky-Shehory. BEST FRIENDS will be performed in both English and Hebrew (by the same actors) and play a limited engagement at the Rattlestick Theater (224 Waverly Place, New York, NY). Shucked, Broadway’s homegrown new musical comedy, has announced the launch of its digital lottery, powered by Broadway Direct, and general rush policy ahead of the show’s first preview on Wednesday, March 8 at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street) ahead of an official opening night of Tuesday, April 4. Repertorio Español, Latinx/Latine theatre company will premiere “MALA MAÑAS” by Alejandra Ramos Riera, the winning play of The 2020 Miranda Family “Voces Latinx” National Playwriting Competition. The production will be directed by Jorge Rodulfo and premieres on Friday, April 21st at 8 pm on the iconic Gramercy Arts Theatre stage. AMT Theater will debut the new musical, On The Right Track, with music by Al Tapper and a book by Tony Sportiello. The musical will be directed by Mauricio Cedeño with music direction by Katie Coleman and will star Dana Aber and David L. Murray Jr. The show begins performances on April 5, before its opening night on April 13, 2023, and runs through May 11, 2023, at AMT Theater

CSC – Classic Stage Company has announced initial performers for one-night only benefit Make Them Hear You: Celebrating 40 Years of Ahrens & Flaherty on April 17 featuring Lea Salonga, A.J.Shively, Christy Altomare, Shereen Ahmed, Hannah Elless, Jason Danieley (who also directs) with Daniel Green as music director.
