The Brooks Atkinson Theatre box office (256 W 47th St, NYC) is now open for the Broadway production of SIX, the musical by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, which will resume performances on Friday, September 17, 2021. SIX will celebrate its long-awaited official Broadway opening night on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

In celebration of the box office opening, treats from Queensyard Restaurant, Café and Bar will be given out at the box office for a limited time starting Thursday, August 19, while supplies last. Queensyard Restaurant, Café and Bar is located in The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards (20 Hudson Yards).

The Broadway cast will feature Adrianna Hicks as Catherine of Aragon, Andrea Macasaet as Anne Boleyn, Abby Mueller as Jane Seymour, Brittney Mack as Anna of Cleves, Samantha Pauly as Katherine Howard, and Anna Uzele as Catherine Parr. The cast will also include Nicole Kyoung-Mi LambertCourtney MackMallory Maedke, and new cast member Keirsten Hodgens.

Second Stage Theater has announced complete casting for the Broadway production of Lynn Nottage’s CLYDE’S. Edmund Donovan (Greater Clements) joins the previously announced Uzo Aduba, Ron Cephas Jones, Reza Salazar, and Kara Young.

Directed by Kate Whoriskey, CLYDE’S will begin previews Wednesday, November 3, 2021 and officially opens on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Second Stage’s Broadway home, The Hayes Theater (240 West 45th Street). 

In CLYDE’S, a stirring and funny new play from two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage and her frequent collaborator, director Kate Whoriskey (Ruined, Sweat), a truck stop sandwich shop offers its formerly incarcerated kitchen staff a shot at redemption. Even as the shop’s callous owner, Clyde (played by Aduba), tries to keep them under her thumb, the staff members are given purpose and permission to dream by their shared quest to create the perfect sandwich.

Asylum NYC, home to NYC’s professional comedy scene, today announced that its hit sell-out show WEEDING OUT THE STONED (the Game Show of Sobriety Tests), will begin an open-ended run on August 27th at Asylum NYC, 307 W. 26th Street, on the Island of Manhattan. The production will run once a month and features a bevy of NYC comedians, all celebrating the legalization of Marijuana in New York and playing games with each other and the audience – awarding candy, prizes, and awesome stuff to those that can weed out the stoned! 

WEEDING OUT THE STONED is a game show of sobriety tests. It’s the only game where cannabis enhances performance and where one comedian is definitely sober. A pack of comedians enter. All but one of them are stoned. It’s up to everyone to find the sober individual so the entire audience can win prizes. Tickets at:
