Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose (West Side Story, Broadway’s HamiltonPippinBring It On) and Drama Desk nominee and Theatre World Award winner Bonnie Milligan (Kimberly AkimboHead Over Heels) went into the studio recently to record “A Woman Knows,” the exhilarating 11 o’clock number from the upcoming original musical comedy “Female Troubles”, a period piece.” Female Troubles” is a completely original musical comedy featuring lyrics by Amanda Green (Hands on a Hardbody, Bring It On), music by Curtis Moore (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”), and book by Gabrielle Allan and Jennifer Crittenden (“Veep,” “Seinfeld”).


Following a sold-out 9-week run at NYTW, Merrily We Roll Along is rolling along to the Hudson Theatre for a thrilling 18-week run, beginning this September! “Getting to know all of the kind-hearted and talented individuals making this show was, without a doubt, the best part of our experience. Signature Theatre will present the world premiere of MacArthur Fellow Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ The Comeuppance this spring off Broadway May 16 thru June 25 with Eric Ting directing. Cast to be announced.

Good Vibrations: A Punk Rock Musical by Colin Carberry and Glenn Patterson, directed by Des Kennedy, choreographed by Jennifer Rooney chronicles the story of Terri Hooley, a radical, rebel, and music-lover in 1970s Belfast. When the Troubles shut down his city and his friends take sides, Terri opens a record shop and becomes the unlikely leader of a motley band of kids who join his mission to create a new community and an alternative Ulster and bring his hometown back to life. A Lyric Theatre, Belfast production based on the BAFTA award-winning film premieres June 14 thru July 9 www.irishartscenter.org

Beetlejuice is bringing pandemonium to the open water. The musical based on Tim Burton’s 1988 film will debut on Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship, Norwegian Viva, in August. It marks the first time the production has been performed at sea. Set to play the ship’s three-story Viva Theatre & Club, the show will star Michelle D’Amico as Lydia. Additional casting is to be announced.
