Lincoln Center Theater had hoped to reopen its productions of the new opera Intimate Apparel at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater and the new musical Flying Over Sunset at the Vivian Beaumont Theater this coming spring 2021, but now hopes to reopen both productions in the fall of 2021.  The two productions were forced to suspend performances this past March 12th when theaters were closed by Governor Andrew Cuomo as a precaution against the outbreak of the virus.

In addition to Intimate Apparel and Flying Over Sunset, LCT plans to produce additional productions in the Vivian Beaumont Theater and Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater in spring 2022, as well as LCT3 productions during the 2021-2022 season in the Claire Tow Theater.
