The Legendary, Interactive Off-Broadway Comedy, Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding is Back!
Known as the The “Granddaddy of Interactive Theater” is back starting March 5, 2014 with a newly updated production in the heart of Times Square.
It’s uproarious and the talk of the town!
Perfect for anyone seeking a unique fun night out on the town. YOU, the audience members, ARE the wedding guests and encouraged to optimize the experience by taking on the impromptu roles of Tony and Tina’s family and friends.
The two-part show begins with a sidesplitting ceremony at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School auditorium (120 W. 46th St.—this is the “Fame” high school!), followed by a short walk by the  entire bridal party and audience through Times Square to a dedicated room at Food Network star Guy Fieri’s Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar (220 W. 44th St.).  There, guests enjoy the hilarious reception complete with an Italian-style buffet dinner, cocktails, dancing to DJ Donnie Dolce, NYC’s #1 wedding singer/DJ and surprise VIP guests (could Martha Stewart show up?).
Unlike Broadway shows, cell phone usage is highly encouraged during the proceedings, so audience members and the cast can utilize social media to real-time tweet each other, share photos and videos.
Other highlights of the revamped production:
·       Surprise marriage proposals can be arranged in advance
·       Custom-made fashion for special members of the cast
·       After attendance, guests receive a Thank You note from Tony and Tina
·       Premium/family seating is available for bachelor/bachelorette parties, mom’s night out
·       Special on-site raffles and product giveaways during the reception
Performances begin Wednesday March 5th and run Wednesday through Saturday evenings at 7 PM, with matinees Saturday at 2pm & Sunday at 3 PM. Casting and design team will be announced shortly.
Tickets are $125 for “Friends” seating, with Premium/Family Seating available at $175 for all performances. Tickets are available by phone, toll free, at 866-811-4111 or online at  www.TonyLovesTina.com, where you can see video, photos, and more.
About Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding:  The characters of Tony and Tina were conceived at Hofstra University by drama students Mark Nasser and Nancy Cassaro (1977-1981).  Between 1985 and 1987, several interactive wedding performances were staged, in which the audience played the guests. After People Magazine declared the show “A hit,” theatrical producer Joe Corcoran secured the worldwide rights to present the show in New York and elsewhere and in February 1988 the first commercial production was mounted in Greenwich Village, where the show became a fixture.
