The new holiday tradition musical, A Christmas Story, with book by Joseph Robinette and music and lyrics by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, follows the classic 1983 movie based on stories by radio humorist Jean Shepherd on the 2013 tour to the Bushnell in Hartford (Nov. 12-17), on to Boston to Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theater (Nov. 20- Dec. 8), landing at Madison Square Garden December 11 thru 29th.
You’ll laugh, cry and remember “You’ll Shoot Your Eye Out” as we follow the Parker Family in this rousing holiday romp with returning cast members John Bolton as The Old Man, Erin Dilly as Mother, Jake Lucas or Eli Tokash as Ralphie (this year there are two), little brother Randy (Noah Baird), Caroline O’Connor as Miss Shields, iconic Dan Lauria as Jean Shepherd, and fabulous Luke Spring (tap dancer phenomenon) – – lest we forget the Bumpus Hounds Pete and Lily!
The show is directed by John Rando, and Warren Carlyle is choreographer.
