I Wish: The Roles That Could Have Been on JULY 24, 2023, at 9:30pm from the crazy amazing mind of Alexandra Silber (Fiddler on the Roof, Indecent, Master Class) this special concert series returns to again give performers a chance to embody their “roles come true”. The audience will get to bear witness to actors living out those dreams! The seventh edition will boast some of Broadway’s favorite performers for a night of surprise, and promises to show them in ways one would never imagine.

I Wish originally premiered at 54 Below in summer 2019 as a one night only event, and due to overwhelming demand and excitement has now become an exciting concert series! The July 2023 edition will again be hosted by Alexandra Silber and will feature Skye Alyssa Friedman (Kimberly Akimbo), Andrew Kober (Beetlejuice, School of RockHair), Melanie La Barrie (& Juliet), Johanna Moise (Hamilton), Jake Pedersen (ParadeWicked), John Rapson (Sweeney ToddLes Misérables, Between The Lines), Phil Sloves (SpongeBob SquarePants), and DeLaney Westfall (Sweeney ToddKinky Boots). International vocal group The Satin Dollz and a quintet led by drummer Daniel Glass in Satin Takes Manhattan on Saturday, July 29 at 9:30 PM at Chelsea Table + Stage. The Dollz—Eve, Kennedy, Roslyn (LA Doll), Estelle, Peyton, Harlow, Lucy, Dottie and Verity—perform swing vocals in vintage attire, spanning the 1940s and 50s golden eras of big band, tiki, and rockabilly.  www.chelseatableandstage.com

“The Songs of Nina Osso” – Sunday, August 20th at 9:30 PM at 54Below!  Join up-and-coming composer Nina Osso as she presents highlights from three of her musicals: American Siren, a Greek mythology-influenced cautionary tale against apoliticism; A Love Story (With Supernatural Roadblocks), a bubbly romp through Cupid’s workplace; and Sunday at Nonno’s, a dramedy about a college-aged video game designer whose eating disorder isolates her from her family of Italian immigrants. “The Songs of Nina Osso” will be a night of theatre that’s full of wit, heart, and soon-to-be classics.

The show will feature Sophia Manicone (Parade), Sabrina Shah (Kimberly Akimbo), Jackson Kanawha Perry, Jalen Bunch (@jalenbunch), Tyler Moran (American Siren, Swing! The Boston Conservatory), Sevon Askew, Madeline Finkelman (Glory: A New Musical), Kenny Lee, and Nina Osso. Music directed by Halle K.
