Syncing Ink opens at The Apollo Stages at the Victoria (which will mark one of the new venue’s first major theater production). Previews begin May 7 with Opening Night on May 19th and runs through July 28th.  Created by playwright NSangou NjikamSyncing Ink celebrates hip hop culture and seamlessly integrates hip hop with traditional African culture specifically rooted in Yoruba traditions. After premiering in NYC seven years ago, the show returns with its original cast, including two-time Tony nominee Kara Young – fresh off her buzzworthy run in Broadway’s much acclaimed Purlie Victorious. This is the first show at the Apollo Stages and Kra is now officially a three-time Tony nominee after Tony nominations were announced this week. www.apollotheater.org

The New Group announces a slate of talkbacks and accessibility initiatives aimed at increasing accessibility and enhancing the experience of the show.  All of Me, by Laura Winters. The show features Madison Ferris, Danny J.
