The World Peace Orchestra features one hundred young students from 50 countries performing a unique concert for peace at Lincoln Center on September 10th
 
Oscar Winning Actor Kevin Spacey (host), Deepak Chopra and supporting stars Mike Tyson, Wynton Marsalis, Buzz Aldrin, Neil Sedaka and others will participate in a historic star-studded “Play for Peace” event on September 10th, 2013 for the World Peace Orchestra at Lincoln Center in New York City. This Sold-Out concert of some 3,000 music enthusiasts is unique, in that it will include over 100 students from more than 50 countries, performing together for the very first time, in the name of peace!
 
The September concert is the culmination of a month-long program run by WPO that is dedicated to empowering young people from countries around the world, as there will be young musicians from Iraq, Libya, Rwanda, Haiti, Kosovo, Kenya, Uganda, Georgia, Mexico, Ethiopia, Vietnam and more, all spreading their message of peace through music and serving as young leaders in their own communities. For many of the students, especially those from conflict regions, the program marks their first trip to the United States.
