The Acting Company presents Marcus Gardley, acclaimed writer of X: or, Betty Shabazz v. The Nation, and directed by Ian Belknap, a comedy that rocks the foundations of faith and redemption – A Wolf in Snakeskin Shoes: or The Gospel of Tartuffe. With his hallmark wit, Gardley creates the indelible Righteous Reverend Prelate Prophetic Apostle Tardmius Tito Jermaine Toof, a preacher and a part-time masseur. Can the Apostle Toof save his church and himself in seven days?

Featuring music from The Broadway Inspirational Voices, and performances by some of New York’s favorite actors, this one-night only event will toast Artistic Director Ian Belknap as he ends his tenure at The Acting Company.

The event takes place Mon. November 8 at 7 pm at Florence Gould Hall at The French Institute, 55 East 59 St. Tickets on sale October 1st. www.theactingcompany.org
